Josef Malejovský was a Czech and Czechoslovakian academic sculptor, carver and pedagogue. He studied at the State School of Applied Arts in the Housing Industry in Prague (today's Secondary School of Applied Arts) and received an education in carving and sculpture under the guidance of teachers František Kmenta and Damian Pešan1.
