Čeněk Vosmík was a Czech sculptor and medalist. He learned to be a blacksmith in his father's workshop and then studied at a goldsmith's school in Prague, where he learned to model. The artistic monuments of Prague had a great influence on the young sculptor, he was particularly interested in Baroque sculptures and the decoration of the National Theatre.
Vosmík became famous for his portrait busts and reliefs. His works are represented, for example, in the National Museum in Prague or the National Gallery in Prague.
