Alexander Jiroušek was a photographer and traveler. He was born on November 24, 1934 in Spišská Nové Ves. He studied at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology in Košice. Since the mid-1970s, he has devoted himself exclusively to photography. He is the author of approximately 150 photographic publications. His photographs are the basis of a large number of postcards and calendars. He won many awards for his work.
